The United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, attended a conference in Pristina today for equal rights for members of the LGBTI community. Kosnett expressed his support to the community saying that more work is needed to guarantee their rights and to ensure a greater acceptation in society. “We join the calls for dignity and equality for all persons regardless of their gender orientation. All over the world, LGBTI members fight to realize their human rights. Despite a modern Constitution, the community in Kosovo still fights for greater acceptation in society,” Kosnett was quoted as saying.
