A vehicle belonging to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Welfare in the Kosovo government and member of the Serbian lIst, Milos Perovic was torched early this morning in the center of Zubin Potok.
Kosovo Police spokesperson for the Region North lieutenant Branislav Radovic told KoSSev that the vehicle was set on fire early in the morning at 02:42h in the center of Zubin Potok.
He added that it is a black Volkswagen Passat vehicle with Kragujevac license plates.
Radovic said that the fire department put out the fire, but that the vehicle was completely destroyed. Material damage is estimated at €5,000.
The competent prosecutor was notified about this case, which was characterized as „arson.“
The Kosovo Police stressed that motive is unknown, adding that they opened an investigation.
Earlier this month, also in Zubin Potok (in the Donji Jasenovik settlement), a bomb was dropped into a yard containing several cars belonging to the same family, while a car was set on fire in March in Strpce. Not including the incident with the bomb, this is the 40th torched vehicle in Serb-majority areas since 2014.
