KFOR spokesperson Vincenzo Grasso said Serbian authorities were informed about yesterday’s Kosovo Police operation in the north.
“I think they knew,” Grasso said adding: “During the operation we communicated with Kosovo institutions, the international community and Serbian authorities. We communicate with the [Serbian] army not the Government”.
“We didn’t know ten days ago but [President of Serbia Aleksandar] Vucic said NATO had informed Serbian authorities,” Grasso said.
“I am surprised everyone is surprised. We continued communication. There was a continuous exchange of information during the operation and everyone was informed. We learnt about it a day ahead,” KFOR spokesperson told Radio Free Europe.
