EU rule of law mission (EULEX) has denied any involvement in the Kosovo Police operation on 28 May.
“With reference to recent reports that appeared today on a number of media outlets, EULEX wishes to state that the Mission was in no way and at no time involved in Kosovo Police’s operation called ‘Contraband’ that was conducted last Tuesday, 28 May. It goes without saying that no EULEX staff member was ever detained in this regard.
Of course EULEX is performing and will continue to perform its duties in accordance with its mandate,” the mission said in a statement.
