Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj released from his duty Bujar Nerjovaj, Deputy Minister of Public Administration, after he was convicted by a court for abuse of power during his work at the Municipality of Prizren.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj said his decision is based on Nerjovaj’s own request to be relieved of post so that he continues legal processes.
On the weekend, media also reported that Haradinaj relieved from the post of his political adviser, Sylejman Selimi, who was convicted of war crimes. Haradinaj also said Selimi’s release from post was “upon his request.”
