Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who is visiting Berlin, met today with MPs from the Bundestag Group for South-East Europe. In a Facebook post, Haradinaj said they discussed overall developments in Kosovo and the region, the close cooperation between Kosovo and Serbia and the process of dialogue with Serbia. “I expressed our position that Kosovo is in favor of dialogue for reaching a comprehensive agreement that would result in mutual recognition in the existing borders. I also reiterated that Kosovo’s citizens are the only ones in the Western Balkans that lack freedom of movement because the visa regime and we expect Germany to give a positive ending to this process,” he wrote. Haradinaj also added that Germany always had a strong role in the consolidation of Kosovo’s statehood and that Kosovo is at the peak of bilateral relations with Germany.
