On the second day of the visit to Berlin, the delegation of the Serbian List, the President Goran Rakic, Vice President Dalibor Jevtic and members of the Presidency Bratislav Nikolic and Sasa Milosavljevic spoke with Advisor to German Chancellor Matthias Lüttenberg.

The Serbian List in a statement said that Association / Community of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO), dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, imposed 100% tariffs on goods from Serbia, as well as the current political and security situation were the topics of this meeting.

The Serb political representatives pointed that the current rhetoric, the latest statements by some Albanian leaders, and the decisions that are against the continuation of the dialogue do not contribute to the reduction of tension on the ground, reads the Serbian List statement.

The statement also underlined that the Serbian people in Kosovo want to live without fear, in a safe environment, without any pressure that, due to current political circumstances, are felt in everyday life.

“The interests of Serbs in Kosovo are peace and stability and therefore our readiness is clear to do everything to secure peace,” the statement said.

When asked about the relationship between the Serbian List and the official Belgrade, the political representatives of Serbs from Kosovo answered that primarily this relationship was natural and at the highest level.

“Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is in constant communication with us because he wants to always take into consideration our stances and opinions, so that the decisions that are being made would contribute to the better position of Serbian people in Kosovo. That is why the trust that President Vucic enjoys among Serbs in Kosovo is the biggest” it was highlighted during the conversation on this topic, pointed the Serbian List statement.

Implementation of the Agreement on (ZSO) was also a topic, and it was emphasized that the agreement was not implemented, due to the fact that Pristina is not in any way sanctioned because of the failure to fulfil this obligation.

They have also stressed the danger of destabilization of situation through actions which are being conducted in the north of Kosovo under the pretext of combating crime and corruption.
