Civil society organisations marched today in Pristina to object the draft law on financing of the political entities, which according to them, does not comply with the constitutional spirit, violates international standards for the financing of political parties, especially the recommendations of the Venice Commission.

However, representatives of the non-governmental organisations were not allowed to place posters at the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), as they did at the headquarters of the the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Vetevendosje Movement and Social-Democratic Party of Kosovo (PSD).

They were impeded by the security of this political party to stick the posters and were forcibly expelled from there.

Ismet Kryeziu said on behalf the organisations that all political parties were informed about their action and appealed on the leader of the PDK Kadri Veseli to ensure everyone’s freedom to protest.
