The news website reports that Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo, will visit Kosovo today. Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved Djuric’s visit request but with limited movement. Djuric had initially requested to visit a Student Center in the north, but then also requested to visit the Gazivoda Lake, a request which was not granted. Jetlir Zyberaj, advisor to Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, told Koha that any attempt by Djuric to visit other locations, including the Gazivoda Lake, will be met with immediate measures. “He requested a permit to visit the Student Center and we approved the request. Yesterday he made a request with a different agenda and planned to visit other locations, including Gazivoda. We turned down his request and only the permit to visit the Student Center remains in force. We will take immediate measures if he attempts to visit other locations,” he said. Pristina-based news website Lajmi reports that Djuric will be escorted by Kosovo Police during his visit. Klan Kosova reports that Djuric is expected to meet the mayors of the four northern municipalities.
