The news website reports that a no-confidence motion against the Haradinaj-led government is expected to be voted at the Assembly in early September. Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) officials said they still don’t have the required number of signatures for the motion but that they are confident that by early September they will convince some MPs from the ruling coalition to support their initiative. LDK MP Vjosa Osmani told KTV: “in the last couple of months and in general in the last two years of the Haradinaj government, we have cooperated mainly with NISMA MPs, but this doesn’t exclude other individual MPs that might not be satisfied with the current government … We are confident that in August we will secure the required number of votes. We don’t want to submit the motion without securing the votes first because this would not only give the Haradinaj government another six months in power, but it would also give it greater political power, and this is certainly not our objective”.
