Head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, said that his visit to the U.S. is as head of the main opposition parliamentary group in the Assembly of Kosovo and not as part of a delegation led by Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli.
“I am part of no-one’s delegation as reported last night by RTK. In this Forum, I represent the LDK parliamentary group as the group that determines developments in the Assembly,” Hoti wrote on Facebook. He said he was travelling to the U.S. on the invitation of the U.S. Congress and will take part in the Parliamentary Leadership Forum bringing together heads of main parliamentary groups from 16 countries.
