Kosovo President Hashim Thaci took to Facebook today to comment on the ninth anniversary of the International Court of Justice’s ruling on the validity of the declaration of Kosovo’s independence. “Nine years have passed since the ruling of the International Court of Justice which confirmed our right to declare the independence of Kosovo. This was the biggest international victory of the Republic of Kosovo, which paved way to strengthening our international subjectivity and forever sealed our right to self-determination. This decision paved the way for Kosovo’s membership of NATO, EU and UN,” Thaci wrote.
