Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with the Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej in Belgrade today, Tanjug news agency reported.
Vucic said that the situation in Kosovo and Metohija gets more complicated every time they meet, adding Serbia was left nothing but to fight. He thanked the Patriarch Irinej because the Church has always been by its people and the state.
According to B92, Patriarch Irinej commented on the Special Court for war crimes invitation to Ramush Haradinaj, asking “if those who had to invite him had apologized because of the invitation,” adding “it is a circus,” B92 said.
Vucic remarked that Haradinaj would return, adding that “Serbia would continue its struggle (…), because it is strong and gets stronger in every sense, foremost in economic (…)”.
