The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci has not met yet with leaders of the main parliamentary parties in Kosovo, after the resignation of the Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. He met on Tuesday with “the small ones” in politics and mentioned possibility of creation of a new governing structure, despite the requests of political parties to announce new extraordinary elections.
Avdullah Hoti, caucus of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), said his political party would participate at consultations with the President only to set the date of elections.
“I believe that time is being wasted in this direction. We will respond to the invitation, which is in accordance with constitutional competencies of the President. We participate in these consultations only to set the election date. Nothing else can be discussed in these consultations,” Hoti said.
