Arben Gashi, MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), said at a debate today organised by the Riinvest College in Pristina that, in principle, LDK considers each party should run in elections alone but if other parties reach pre-election coalitions, then LDK would rethink its position and decide in favour of one.
Gashi said that the decision to possibly enter a coalition would be taken by the LDK leader, Isa Mustafa. “The LDK is interested in all parliamentary parties heading to elections on their own so that we know the power of each party,” he said.
“Political parties have decided to dissolve the Assembly on 22 August and hold elections sometime end of September, 22 or 29 September would have to be the timeline,” Gashi said.
