Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader Kadri Veseli visited the premises of the Cardiac Surgery Department of Pristina Hospital today and said this is a model of the fight against corruption. He argued that the fight against corruption cannot be won in one day. “I met many healthcare staff in the premises of the cardiac surgery department at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, which is a model of the fight against corruption and proof of major reforms in the healthcare system. We now have faster, more efficient and qualitative services and modern equipment. Millions saved through the war on corruption in healthcare, we have invested them in infrastructure, for purchasing new equipment and providing 24/7 services. The case of the healthcare system proves that the fight against corruption is not only a right but that it brings constant benefits. The war against corruption is not won in one day. But through healthcare we can prove that being successful in this fight helps us build a better future,” Veseli said.
