Acting Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, said that privatisation of Kosovo Telecom will be advantageous for Kosovo. “We think privatisation is the right way forward, it is an international practice of the developed world, a way to increase the value and parallel to that, restructure the Telecom,” he said. “We are interested in attracting renowned international brands.”
Lluka said however that privatisation of telecom will not happen at a time when Kosovo has a provisional government and that this is a long term project.
