Alternativa co-founder and MP, Ilir Deda, said he will not follow his colleague Mimoza Kusari-Lila in entering a coalition with Vetevendosje.
In a Facebook post explaining why he will not be joining Kusari-Lila, Deda wrote that he did not choose to leave Vetevendosje, two years after he joined the party in 2014, only to return to it now.
“I deeply believe that it would not be fair on my part to return to the Movement through the ‘coalition’. It would not be sincere to my supporters, the Movement, Vetevendosje voters or to Albin. Furthermore, the concept of opposition unification to me is not a return to Vetevendosje through a back door,” Deda wrote.
