Leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) Isa Mustafa has reacted to reports of a growing discontent within party membership following the outcome of the chairmanship election calling them “out of place” and “resentful”.
“LDK is unified in its vision for the future. Division is being talked about by those that aim to damage us in the election process,” Mustafa wrote on Facebook.
He said LDK will not be split if “two-three former MPs are not proposed for Chairmanship, when the same have been proposed and elected to the highest LDK body, the General Council.” “I am aware of the environment we live in and that some spent enormous amount of stolen money to split the LDK but I do not hang around, work or associate with such persons. I ignore them!”
Mustafa said the citizens will be those that determine who is best skilled and uncorrupt, “who can take them to the EU and who can scorch the road to the EU, who has knowledge on how to develop the economy and who is capable of destroying the budget…”
