Health facility in the village of Staro Gracko was broken into for the third time by unknown persons, causing material damages, RTV Gracanica reported. A nurse, Dragana Maksimovic found burglarized health facility this morning when she came to work.
“I came to work this morning and found a broken window. I was afraid to enter. One door was violently broken as well, and next to it me and my collage found an axe there. Are they sending us a message (by doing this) I do not know, but we had to start working. Everything was in disorder, shelves with medicaments were broken, medical material was on the floor, and money from patients’ participation was stolen. We reported the case to the Kosovo police, they came and took fingerprints,” Maksimovic said.
Director of the Health House in Donja Gusterica, doctor Nebojsa Milovanovic told RTV Gracanica the health facility in Staro Gracko offers services to the village inhabitants, regardless if they are Serbs or Albanians. He said the same health facility was burglarized several times, and the inhabitants are concerned. He also noted that Kosovo police should increase its presence in order to ensure safety of the Serbs living in this village.
