Deputy leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) Agim Veliu did not want to make a statement on whether he supports Vjosa Osmani as LDK’s candidate for Prime Minister. “LDK unites me and Osmani,” he said.
He also did not give any justification for not participating on Saturday’s meeting of his political party, saying that he has the right to be absent once. He denied that his and Lutfi Haziri’s absence were related to the possibility of Vjosa Osmani’s nomination for the candidate for PM.
Veliu said he prefers for LDK to run on its own in general elections.
