During the weekend in the villages of Bitinja, Popovce, Brezovica and Rakanovac “KLA” graffiti and inscriptions “Kosovo-Albania” were written, RTS reports. The case was reported to the Kosovo police that is looking for the perpetrators.
The inscription of graffiti has caused disturbance among the Serbs living in the area, where they make the majority and noted there were no inter-ethnic incidents happening before.
The Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija condemned the incident saying it cannot be interpreted differently, but as an open threat to the Serbs in south of Kosovo.
