Some of the representatives of Serbs in Kosovo have signed on Wednesday a pre-election coalition for the early parliamentary elections that will be held on 6 October.
Nenad Rasic from Progressive Democratic Party, Rada Trajkovic from Serb European Movement, Dragisa Miric from New Party of Kosovo and Branislav Markovic signed the agreement.
“Our long-term aim is to create better living conditions for Serbs, their social, political, institutional and economic development. We are witnesses of absolute apathy among young Serbs, who due to the weak political actions of the current representatives, do not see any further perspective in Kosovo, and are intensively choosing to live their lives somewhere else,” is written in their joint statement.
They also stressed that they are open to any discussions which aim empowerment of “the voice of Kosovo Serbs” and establishment of pillars for a safe return of displaced Serbs.
