Kosovo’s outgoing Minister of Justice, Abelard Tahiri, said today he is pleased that Albanian children that were returned from conflict zones in Syria will go to school today. “We have saved 74 Albanian children from the horrors of war and gave them new opportunities just like their peers,” Tahiri said. “By bringing them back, we have not only shown our humane values as a society, but we have also set a new standard at the global level which today is a reference even for the most developed democratic countries”. News websites recall that in April this year, 110 citizens of Kosovo, including 32 women, 74 children and four combatants were repatriated from Syria to Kosovo.
