Leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Kadri Veseli has called on leaders of political parties in Kosovo to sign a joint declaration vowing to fight corruption and nepotism.
In a press conference today, Veseli signed a pact against corruption and said he would be sending it to all leaders of political parties competing in these elections “so that the fight against corruption and nepotism doesn’t only remain on paper but turned into action”.
“No party in Kosovo is free of mistakes and I don’t think the public expects us to play a blaming game. The public expects us to make changes and create a new reality – and this is what we have to do. In recent weeks I’ve been speaking about fight against corruption, clean list that we will present and the new government I will lead. A list without indictments and a government without indictments,” Veseli said.
