The new British Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, has presented his credentials to President Hashim Thaci.
“I am pleased to have presented my Letter of Credentials to President Thaçi. The UK and Kosovo enjoy deep ties of friendship and co-operation, forged in the most difficult of times. I look forward to developing and strengthening our relations with the people of Kosovo, and continuing my predecessors’ work to help reform and modernize Kosovo’s institutions and democracy and to encourage and support those within the system who are working to fight corruption and nepotism,” said Abbott on the occasion.
