Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said in his word at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Kosovo Police being established that Kosovo joining Interpol would help fight against corruption.
“Our police becoming part of Interpol will help fight of transnational crime. Preventing Kosovo’s membership is like helping crime,” Haradinaj said.
He then thanked U.S. institutions for support to Kosovo Police. “U.S. partner institutions, I thank you for your cooperation. The police save lives of the people of this country. I can truly say people of Kosovo are lucky to have you.”
