Leader of Peoples’ Party (NS) Vuk Jeremic called for the boycott of elections in Serbia, arguing that in that case all decisions made by the institutions elected after the poll and international agreements that the authorities would sing, including the eventual agreement on “delineation” by which Pristina would get seat in the UN would be illegitimate, Kosovo-online portal reports.

“This causes uneasiness in the international community, because the forthcoming authorities could say such agreements are not binding to them. The regime of the Serbian President and SNS (Serbian Progressive Party) will be nurtured, tolerated and allowed to mutate into a monster because someone needed it to conclude the job related to Kosovo. This debt has come for the payment now,” Jeremic’s party announced.

Jeremic also said that based on reliable information he has, during the recent meeting of President Aleksandar Vucic and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Tony Blair was also present on the Serbian side, and Vucic was told “to conclude the job related to Kosovo and his hands are untied to do so”.

“If we permit Vucic to sign the so-called comprehensive, legally binding agreement with Pristina and it to be a guarantor of the Kosovo independence, I am afraid we would need to deal with our own problems for many years,” Jeremic added.

Meanwhile, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director and deputy chair of the SNS Main Board, Marko Djuric reacting to this statement said that Jeremic is punished with a role of a permanent political loser because of everything he has done to strengthen the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and that today without any grounds he accuses others for what he has done himself, Kosovo online portal reported.
