Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader and candidate for Prime Minister, Kadri Veseli, called on all political parties in Kosovo today to refrain from using hate speech on the eve of the election campaign, the news website reports. “It is very important to refrain from hate speech in election campaigns; therefore, I call on all political parties to run a more dignifying campaign,” he said. Veseli said that thanks to the aid and partnership with the United States and the European Union, “Kosovo has made huge steps forward in building democratic institutions”. “Much more remains to be done and some of the biggest threats to our democracy are corruption and nepotism. We can win this war only by fighting together and with greater seriousness,” he added.
