Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) candidate for prime minister, Vjosa Osmani, said in a live chat session with citizens organised by the Kosovo Democratic Institute that if elected, she and her team would lead the dialogue with Serbia transparently and in close cooperation with parliamentary parties.
Red lines in the dialogue with Serbia, according to her, are issues connected to Kosovo’s borders and its sovereignty and that the president of Kosovo’s role in the process will be ceremonial.
“The moment I come to office, the issue of borders, sovereignty, will absolutely not reach the table of talks in Brussels and in no other process I am present of. The president will have only one role, in ceremonially decreeing the final agreement that would be endorsed at the Kosovo parliament,” she said.
