President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, met Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in New York in the margins of the UN General Assembly. The meeting focused on issues relating to strengthening of bilateral relations, a statement issued by Thaci’s office states.
“Now is the time to expand the good cooperation we had so far, bring cooperation between our two states to a new level,” Thaci said. He thanked the Greek prime minister for his country’s support to Kosovo and said they agreed to look into the possibility of increasing economic and trade cooperation.
Mitsotakis on his part said Greece supports European perspective of Western Balkans countries.
