“My vote has a value” campaign is organized by KOSINT 2020, which is a network of civil society organisations who work on comprehensive participation of the members of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities in Kosovo society.
Jehona Xhaferi, manager of the KOSNIT project said “My vote has value” has two objectives: “First, to increase the number of voters from the communities no matter for which entity and to gain the pledge of the candidates for prime minister that they are going to increase priorities,” Xhaferi said. She said the pledge of the candidates for MPs to fulfill the demands would have impact on the well being of these three communities.
Increase of the number of voters is done through discussions with members of these communities, in which occasion signatures of the participants with demands on the needs of this community are collected.
