Representatives of the Fjala political party (The Word) told reporters in Pristina today that they are against the Pride Parade which will be held in downtown Pristina at noon today. Bedri Bytyci, a senior member of this party said: “As a conservatory party from a conservative society we are here to express our opposition to the so-called ‘Pride Parade’ which will be held in Pristina today, we call it the ‘Shame Parade’ … Same as other conservative parties in the European Union, the United States and elsewhere in the world, we are against same-sex marriages … No one denies their rights but to promote this at the square is unusual and against every value”.
