The Central Election Commission (CEC) started on Thursday vote recount at 313 polling stations, as it was found out that some forms had technical mistakes in matching the data and results.
Votes at ten from these polling stations will be recounted completely due to the finding that votes of candidates and pages of the result forms are missing.
CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi said that four to five days are required for this recount.
“I believe that by the beginning of the next week, we will start with recount of votes sent by mail, conditional votes and those of the individuals with special needs,” Elezi said.
