Fatmir Limaj, leader of the Social-Democratic Initiative (NISMA) has addressed a letter to the head of Central Election Commission (CEC) Valdete Daka and the other members of the commission.
Limaj has requested recount of votes at Kosovo level. He wrote among the other things that irregularities and flagrant violations on the use of the result forms are evidence in all Kosovo municipalities.
“Due to the negative effect and violation of articles 101 and 102 of the Law on general elections, we consider that the decision of CEC for partial vote recount is insufficient to improve distortion of the result without precision and harm caused to the competing political parties, by affecting in this manner directly the will expressed by the voters in all municipalities,” Limaj wrote in his letter.
