Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj said in an interview with the news website that he does not plan to break the coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) if they don’t agree on the post of Kosovo President at their meeting on Monday. Haradinaj said they will discuss the issue in due time.

Three economic agreements expected to be finalised in Washington (Kosovapress)

Three letters of intent between Kosovo and Serbia on airlines, railways and highways are expected to become agreements at the meeting between the two delegations in Washington at the White House, the news website reports.

Kosovo’s Minister of Infrastructure, Arban Abrashi, said all indications point to the letters of intent becoming agreements at the meeting between Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. “The Kosovo Government is also ready to take some loans to fund these crucial projects. But also co-funding if there is readiness to do so,” he added.

Vucic: Meeting could be postponed to Sept 3 or 4, Trump could join (Express)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that the meeting between the Serbian and Kosovo delegations in Washington scheduled for September 2 could be postponed to September 3 or 4, because according to him there are indications that if something important happens at the meeting then U.S. President Donald Trump could join the meeting.

“Negotiations will be held for all issues related to normalisation but not for recognition. Talks are brokered by Brussels, but this is completely different,” Vucic said in an interview to Serbian media.

Citing unnamed sources, Gazeta Express reported on Friday that the meeting in Washington could be postponed and that President Trump could join the meeting between the two delegations.

Selimi: Serbian government has information on Ukshin Hoti’s fate (RTK)

Kosovo’s Minister of Justice, Selim Selimi, said in a Facebook post today that the Serbian Government has information on the fate of Ukshin Hoti but has never made them public. Hoti was a Kosovo Albanian philosopher and activist. Hoti was a professor of international law and later philosophy at the University of Pristina and founder of UNIKOMB, a political party of Kosovo. Since 1982 he had been arrested several times by Yugoslav authorities. In 1994 he was convicted to five years in the Dubrava prison. In May 1999, when his sentence ended and he was to be released, guards of the prison relocated him. His whereabouts are unknown, and many human rights activists consider him dead.
