Representatives of Kosovo Serbs assessed that visit of the Serbian Prime Minister Vucic to Kosovo on Sunday serves as an important benchmark showing that Belgrade will never abandon Serbs in Kosovo.

One of two Serb ministers in the Kosovo government, Ljubomir Maric, said to Tanjug that Vucic’s visit is a message that Serbian Government and official Belgrade are the address that guarantees survival of Serbs in Kosovo. Maric also said that Serbian Government’s presence in Kosovo is growing and that current government is much more present on the field. He added that an important message is that people remain part of Serbia and that they will never be abandoned.

The chairperson of the Serbian List, Slavko Simic, issued a communique where he reflected on Vucic’s visit to Kosovo and said that this is very important visit, not only for Serbs but for all who live in Kosovo.
