The Mayor of Gračanica/Graçanicë Municipality, Vladeta Kostić, voiced his concern over the fact that not a single perpetrator was found in relation to the last three attacks that took place lately in this municipality. He reminded that the municipality has neither the means nor the mandate to provide personal and material safety of residents and that police should be in charge for it.
Kostic reflected on yesterday’s attack on a girl in Gračanica/Graçanicë and said that the municipality is doing what it can in terms of providing better street lights which could help surveillance cameras to make more clear recordings. He also reminded that the most important segment of the residents’ security and safety is police, and added that he didn’t receive any official police report in relation to yesterday’s incident.
