Kosovo’s President, Hashim Thaci, met today with a European Parliament delegation that will participate in the EU-Kosovo meeting on the implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA). During the meeting, Thaci said that Kosovo will fulfill all visa liberalization requirements set by the EU, including the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities in compliance with the Constitution of Kosovo, as well as the ratification of the agreement on border-demarcation with Montenegro. President Thaci said he will initiate drafting of a code that does not allow convicted persons to be part of election lists or Kosovo institutions.
