The EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and enlargement, Johannes Hahn, said that he has arrived in Kosovo to congratulate and celebrate Kosovo’s membership at UEFA, and entering into power of the SAA. He said that the economic perspective is very important, and it is one of the main perspectives of the country.
“The SAA pushes the country forward, a new joint group will be established to draft guidelines that deal with the rule of law in Kosovo. The rule of law is important for many things and also for investors”, said Hahn .
“During the next years, there will be over €300 million available to accommodate businesses on the challenges deriving from the SAA, in order for them to be competitive in the European market. If you have access to the European market, you also have it to the global market, because the standards are almost the same”, said Hahn.
He expressed his conviction that visa liberalization for Kosovo will happen soon, and recommended to the political parties, civil society and all the others to be united for the benefit of Kosovo.
