The US government has not yet announced the Serbian resolution and political platform for Kosovo, which are endorsed by the Assembly of Serbia.

In the meantime, a source from the Department of State, told RTK that it does not help relations, “however, the platform will impede and harm the dialogue at the senior political level.”

The US have been strongly supporting the dialogue that is taking place in Brussels under the patronage of the EU chief for foreign policy, Catherine Ashton. Other American analysts stated that the Serbian resolution and platform “tries to keep the tendency of formal sovereignty in the entire territory of Kosovo,” while it aims “to create a system where Kosovo Serbs would be governed separately.”

It has been even called “Milosevic’s dream,” which alludes that nothing has changed in the Serbian policy from the dictatorial and chauvinist ideology of the Serbian criminal, an ideology which lead to Yugoslavia’s disintegration and the start of the wars with Slovenians, Croatians, Bosnian Muslims, and Albanians.

A professor of Johns Hopkins University, Daniel Serwer, stated a few days ago that the position and platform, possibly provoke armed conflicts.
