President of the Commission for Missing Persons, Veljko Odalović says that the ZSO will be formed soon, if Biden’s message was taken seriously in Pristina.
When asked when he expects establishment of the ZSO, Odalović said to the RTS “how Pristina works, this will last.”
He says that the ZSO constitutes a “bone in the throat” to Pristina and “many others who have introduced Belgrade into a dialogue with the promise that ZSO will be formed.”
“I hope that messages of Vice President Biden in Pristina were clearly understood. If the messages are sincere, it will be soon,” Odalović said.
Odalovic assesses that in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina “ZSO is biggest stumbling block,” adding that there is “tremendous pressure” when it comes to energy and telecommunications.
He said that Pristina in a very perfidious way tries to resolve the property issue through the question of telecommunications and energy, adding that Serbia has fulfilled all its obligations, and that it insists to open talks on the property.
