Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said today at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Rose-Roth seminar taking place in Pristina that the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities will be established. “We’ve had violent protests but have managed to overcome them. The Association will be established and with regards to demarcation, the government is convinced we have preserved the territory of Kosovo and have not lost an inch of land despite opposition’s claims,” Mustafa said. Speaking about KFOR, Mustafa said it has a special role and the peacekeeping troops should still remain in Kosovo.  “I can state with full confidence that the citizens’ trust in KFOR is very high,” he said. As for the threat of terrorism, PM Mustafa said Kosovo institutions have undertaken a series of measures to prevent religious radicalism. “We have managed not to have any citizen join foreign conflicts since September of last year,” Mustafa noted adding that the government of Kosovo has also approved a strategy for fighting extremism and terrorism. He also spoke about Kosovo Security Force (KSF) saying that he expects it to become member of NATO but first it has to transform into Kosovo Armed Force.
