The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, hosted today a meeting with a delegation of the representatives of the Montenegrin community in Kosovo.
Thaci stressed that Kosovo is home to all members of the communities who live there. “The Montenegrin community will be recognized also by the Constitution and it will have a seat at the Assembly of Kosovo,” Thaci said.
Head of the Association of Montenegrins in Kosovo, Slobodan Vujicic, informed Thaci on the strategy of affirmation and integration of the Montenegrin community in Kosovo.
“This strategy is now ready and it will be sent to the government of Kosovo for approval, in order to start with implementation of the action plan of the strategy,” Vujicic said.
Thaci welcomed the strategy and stressed that Kosovo has best relations with Montenegro and Montenegrin community in Kosovo.
