Member of the Assembly of Kosovo Jasmina Živković says that it is unacceptable for MP to use the parliamentary rostrum and blame the whole nation for the legal process. She referred to the Daut Haradinaj’s address at the session of the Kosovo parliament.
Živković says that while listening to the translation in the Assembly, she has understood that Daut Haradinaj has confirmed that he knowingly has made the statement to the local television last week.
She says that the deputies of Serbian List reacted and tried to explain that Serbian people cannot be responsible for the legal processes that occur.
“It is unacceptable that one deputy uses the institution and parliamentary podium and blames a whole nation for the legal process in which the nation is not included. No nation can be held responsible for a legal process that is on-going. If Serbian people should fear of any future legal process then where leads any policy, if in it there is any word about politics”, said Živković.
She stressed that it was high time that such statements are sanctioned and penalized because these threats were not made only for MPs, but for all Serbs in Kosovo.
