Three cars have burned early this morning in northern Mitrovica in the vicinity of the student dormitory, reported KoSSev.
Head of Operations of the Kosovo Police for the North Željko Bojić confirmed that North police station received a report on the fire this morning, and that preliminary findings, according to the investigation, show that it was the case of arson.
Bojić told Kossev that in the street Vasilije Ostroški a vehicle of the brand “Mercedes” was on fire. Also, another vehicle of the brand “Sharan” was damaged as well. Bojić also said that both passenger vehicles were the property of Kosovo Serbs and added that at a distance of 50 meters from the vehicles the third vehicle ”Fiat Punto” was on fire.
Bojić confirmed to KoSSev that the owner of one of the burned cars was a member of Kosovo Police.
KoSSev reported and learned that the third damaged vehicle belonged to the Directorate for Housing and Office space.
