Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Mayor of Gjakova/Djakovica and leader of Alternativa which ran under a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR), thanked the people of Kosovo for democratic elections and assured her voters that their will would be respected. She said Alternativa would remain in the pre-election coalition with LDK and AKR and is not considering cooperating with any other coalition.
Meanwhile, Alternativa’s co-founder and candidate for MP, Ilir Deda, said they would not support the coalition between the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA). “I can assure you that our coalition will remain united as will not support PAN either as a bloc or as separate entities”, Deda wrote on Facebook.
