In a press conference today, Vetevendosje leader Visar Ymeri accused President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci as acting as if he were “king” of Kosovo. Ymeri said there are rules which specify who should be given mandate to form the government. “Citizens have given their verdict and neither Thaci nor anyone else can stop Vetevendosje”, Ymeri said.
“PDK is under panic because it has suffered defeat and its political power is being threatened as well as the possibility to misuse public money and property”, Ymeri said adding that this is why the party is now “engaged in a campaign of slander” against Vetevendosje.
