The fate of the agreement with the PAN coalition, on election of the Assembly President and creation of the government, depends on the leader of the Alliance for New Kosovo (AKR), Behxhet Pacolli.
The AKR leadership and its MPs could not find a solution to unblock the institutions, as authorized on Sunday by the steering committee of this party. This was confirmed by head of the AKR election commission, Fatmir Matoshi. He denied Agim Bahtiri’s claims that AKR has decided not to join the PAN coalition. “AKR has a decision that requires unblocking of the situation and finding of a solution. No other decision was made,” Matoshi said.
“It is in the hands of our leader,” he added further.
