Ruling SNS party leader and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic “does not share the majority opinion in the SNS on (early parliamentary) elections.”

This is what SNS official and Serbian Presidency’s Secretary General, Nikola Selakovic has told RTS.

According to Selakovic, Vucic will “think hard” and then present his stance on the issue “in ten days to two weeks’ time”.

“Knowing him, it will not be in the interest of the SNS, but in the interest of Serbia, the state, and the people,” said Selakovic.

Previously, the daily Blic reported that a meeting of the SNS Presidency was planned for Wednesday, meant to discuss holding local elections in Belgrade along with early parliamentary elections. However, according to the report, this meeting was canceled because Vucic and his closest associates were “yet to make a decision”.
